The Associate Production Manufacturing Scientist position, located in St. Louis, MO, USA, supports our Bio-Organic and Affinity Resin product line. An Associate Production Scientist is responsible to ensure successful manufacturing of products according to established protocols, provide technical support to others and perform operations in support of the production group and department. In this role you will be interacting cross-functionally with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Packaging, Materials Management, Engineering and Maintenance.
Who You Are:
BS or BA degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or HS/equivalent with 5+ year's experience
Able to follow established procedures and perform daily operations in a safe and orderly manner
Strong communication skills
Advanced oral and written communication skills.
Intermediate knowledge in Chemistry (Organic and Analytical) Biochemistry
Familiarity with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, Optical Rotation, Karl Fischer, TLC)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office based programs for Manufacturing/Operating procedure writing, technical report generation, product tracking and trending data analysis.
Abilityto identify potential safety and quality risk within our manufacturing operations.
Drive and initiative to grow into a strong leader within Manufacturing Operations.
Work experience of any kind. (conflict resolution, multi-tasking ability, work while taking courses in high school or college)
Good at multi-tasking and conflict resolution.
Self-started and independent.
