KDP Careers - Victorville, CA ScientistAs a Scientist you are responsible for overall quality lab operations of the Keurig Dr Pepper processing operations. You will work with the team to ensure food safety and other quality standards are applied. What you will do:Ensures a safe workplace is maintained and there is a safety mindset in all things we do.Supervise up to 8 Quality TechniciansHires, schedules and supervises full time staff and additional temporary staff.Follows all policies, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by Keurig Dr Pepper and the department.Interprets test results, writes technical reports and effectively communicates information within the organization

Provides technical guidance based on test results and subject knowledge

Independently researches, evaluates and interprets external technical information

Develops skill in using software as necessary

Balances scientific rigor with business needs

Coaches colleagues in specific areas of technical competency

Develops solutions to a variety of problems, by referring to policies and practices for guidance.Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards (i.e. Food Safety, Food Defense)Performs other duties as requested by management
