Our Process Development Services team is an important function within Pall, this is a customer facing role with a focus on upstream process development.
All upstream development activities such as: development of flatware, small and large scale bioreactors manufacturing viral vector production processes utilizing mammalian cell expression systems using fed-batch techniques and perfusion, while meeting GMP manufacturing requirements
Prepare reagents in support of cell culture and routine analytical testing
Provide technical resolution and the monitoring of ongoing cell culture projects development campaigns.
Assist in the routine maintenance of general laboratory equipment and lab daily activities
Perform a wide range of cell culture primarily, but not limited to, the molecular, cell biology, and virology test areas of Biopharmaceutical Services
Ensure inventory logs are current for required cell culture reagents and supplies
Set up and Execute bioreactor runs for cell culture processes
Writing experimental plans and reports
Our PDS Scientists have opportunities to attend conferences, publish and present data.
Bachelors of Science degree in biology/biochemical engineering or related degree and 5+ years relevant laboratory and process development industrial experience.
Data analysis, interpretation, presentation of results
Ability to solve moderately complex issues independently
