Serve as subject matter expert on gene therapy pre-clinical development for existing and new programs.
Conducts laboratory activities in Sarepta in-house laboratory, interacts with research, translational biology and bioanalytical groups.
Organizes and conducts experiments to support analysis of in vivo and in vitro studies using a variety of assay formats such as nucleic acid and protein isolation, ddPCR, qPCR, western blot and immunofluorescence/immunohistochemistry.
Independent contributor to team activities from assay development, understanding disease biology, and mechanism of action studies.
Leads the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and laboratory techniques to improve quality and robustness of sample analysis.
Performs general laboratory maintenance and helps to maintain a clean and safe working environment while ensuring compliance with GLP/GCP guidelines.
