Position Summary:

To conduct fed batch and perfusion cell culture to further advance the development of filtration technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CHO cell culture runs in fed batch (XRS20 and STR200) and perfusion (hollow fiber modules & AWS) modes

  • Maintenance of cell lines and cell culture sample analysis

  • Statistical data analysis in Excel, preparation of Powerpoint slides

  • Lab maintenance support including inventory, purchases, and equipment upkeep related to the CHO feedstock provision for Biotech Applications R&D team

  • Willing to do occasional off hours and weekend work (for bioreactors)

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Team player

  • Time management, ability to work with tight deadlines

  • Eye for detail and highly organized

  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

  • Document and record data following standard operating procedures

  • Reproducibly follow established procedures

  • Hands-on laboratory skills including aseptic and sterile techniques

Job Requirements


Bachelor's in biological science, chemical engineering or related discipline
1-2 years of experience in bacterial cell culture, preference given for mammalian cell culture
