The Discover Sciences, Alexander Lab, are currently focused on implementing new tumor sampling methodologies to address tumor heterogeneity at the cellular and molecular level, and applying these methods to improve cancer outcome disparities.
The Opportunity:
Drives on-time delivery of documentation and other deliverables for multiple on-going projects in accordance with various Research Portfolio Committee guidelines, and/or other oversight processes.
Uses subject matter expertise in development and design change processes to advise project leadership on best practices, timelines, and risks. Supports the research and early development teams with planning, scheduling, tracking and managing documentation deliverables throughout the research progress.
With minimal managerial oversight, leads cross-functional research projects. Engages with Legal and Partnering teams to ensure that Collaborative Research Agreements and Statement of Work documentations are delivered in a timely manner, while working to preserve the best outcomes for Roche.
Identifies opportunities for consistency and alignment across project teams. Ensures that international collaborations
Works closely with Project Management staff to facilitate product development and assist in preparation and review of product design deliverables for the development and commercialization of instrumentation systems.
Consistently demonstrates Roche values and growing in areas of Roche core competencies. Comfortable with Roche leadership commitments. Monitors work to ensure quality, scientific rigor, and consistent communication across project teams.
Who you are:
You have a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field
You have specialized expertise in biology and technology areas, particularly when interfacing with experimental staff, and project leadership.
You have 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a research or biopharmaceutical setting, with demonstrated success managing documentation and product development processes.
You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional projects with minimal oversight and effectively collaborating with teams in Legal, Partnering, and Research & Development.
You have experience managing complex documentation, adhering to Research Portfolio Committee guidelines, and working with regulatory bodies on compliance.
Understanding of Collaborative Research Agreements, Statements of Work, and industry-standard processes for product development and documentation.
You have experience expediting research protocols and Key Opinion Leader management.
You have experience partnering with external companies to evaluate technology and/or to drive projects where the majority of the work is being outsourced.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson, AZ is 96,100-178,500 Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
