Scientist:

For a CRO (Frontage Laboratories, Inc.

• Exton, PA): prepare dose formulations intended for pre-clinical animal studies in a GLP-compliant environment; identify suitable raw materials and technologies; generate and review study protocols; prepare and track dose formulation documentation; conduct method development and troubleshoot formulation methods, including conducting pH, solubility, homogeneity and stability tests; manage shipping, receiving, proper storage, organization and inventory maintenance, including chain of custody documentation for new test articles; ensure project compliance with GLP regulations; collaborate with scientific and technical staff to develop new techniques in formulation making, SOP revisions, department inspections and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

• Master of Science or foreign equivalent degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmaceutical Analysis or a related field.

• 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience as a Research Scientist in the pharmaceutical industry. The required experience must include routine analytical testing of finished formulations, testing stability of solid dosage formulations in compliance with GLP, FDA guidance and conducting water content and Loss on Drying (LOD) analysis.

• Proficiency in HPLC, dissolution, Karl Fischer, and UV spectroscopy, LIMS, EMPOWER and CHEMSTATION.

Work Location: Painesville, OH.

Hours: 40 per week

• Monday through Friday.
