Scientist, Analytical Chemistry

R&D Scientist (Analytical Chemistry) The Scientist in Analytical Chemistry is a Frisco, TX based role responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis, interpretation and communication of results, and supporting the Analytical team, R&D teams, and various functions within the KDP business. Effective participation in cross-functional teams and an understanding of the project management process will be required.

The candidate should also possess good problem-solving skills and show strong leadership and influencing capabilities in making data driven project/business decisions. The scientist should be self-motivated, work independently in the role, and possess strong project leadership skills. Position Responsibilities Performing a wide range of analytical testing using modern instrumentation and wet chemical techniques

Provide technical guidance and expertise to customers, R&D project teams, KDP business leaders and internal/external partners

Participate on, and lead, projects and cross functional teams as a SME (subject matter expert) for product and ingredient analysis

Compile, interpret, and communicate test results clearly, timely, and effectively to customers and project stakeholders, which will include the utilization and management of a LIMS database

Follow proper laboratory GLP protocols, lab safety, and general lab cleanliness and maintenance
