Position Summary
Provides oversight and administration of multiple research projects in the Research Team of the Division, including applied clinical informatics research development, protocol creation, data analysis, manuscript writing, and publication.
This position is in the Institute for Informatics, Data Science, and Biostatistics. At I2DB our team is our number one asset. Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Grant preparation and writing, including research sections: This position assists the faculty member with the development of scientific and administrative sections of grants.
Supports observational studies and clinical trials within the research team.
Preparation, writing, and editing of research abstracts and journal articles
Preparation and editing of presentations of research abstracts and talks.
Creating graphics and figures for research products.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in an appropriate scientific discipline or other applicable area.
Excellent administrative skills.
Experience with research required, clinical research experience.
Advanced knowledge of computer applications.
Applicant should have significant experience with word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and the applicant must have database and internet experience.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Applicant must be able to work independently and manage multiple assignments with various levels of priority.
Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in relevant area or applicable equivalent education and experience totaling six years.

Salary Range
$52,000.00 - $88,800.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
