Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Operational Strategy Program Manager

The SRA Operational Strategy Program Manager role provides a unique opportunity within Mars to manage and sustain holistic and cross segment (Mars Corporate and Mars Wrigley) SRA multi-year operational strategy, functional roadmaps, top programs and performance metrics.

Through key business partnerships with senior leaders and teams; successful project and program management, this role will deliver and impact business results and deploy SRA strategy. What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in a technical area including; project management, business administration, strategic planning, engineering, or equivalent.

• Foundational project/program management certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Project Manager (CPM), Master Project Manager (MPM). Advanced certifications preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years experience (in global FMCG business preferred) managing large-scale, high visibility programs. 7 years experience preferred.

• Demonstrated successful experience in: strong cross-functional stakeholder management in a rapidly changing environment; measuring and analyzing data and financial indicators, developing and executing professional communication strategies to senior leaders, managing large corporate budgets, building foundational framework for global programs including roadmaps, key milestones, risk management models, critical success factors, KPI's and targets.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Program manage the holistic SRA strategy roadmap development, deployment, metrics reporting, effectiveness measurements, collaboration, communication and execution.

• Develop method for prioritization of highest yielding initiatives to deliver strategy and growth initiatives.

• Effectively build communications for and present to SRA cross-segment leadership team key priorities and pain points related to areas within core SRA accountability to drive alignment and support strategy building

• Build structure into business case creation and data gathering aligned to strategic priorities.

• Proactive analysis of data to drive discussions related to strategic planning

• Introduce financial visibility on cost/benefits analysis to support decision-making.

• Large-scale budget planning and strategic management for effective annual spending.

• Translate business strategies into work plans and provide guidance from development through deployment and sustain.

• Manage business relationships with cross segment/functional partners to facilitate collaboration and prioritization of SRA needs within environment of rapid transformation.

• Support in the development of SRA formal communication and documentation templates and branding work.
