The Scientific Content Manager is responsible for writing, reviewing, and editing within and across departments, including but not limited to blogs, print collateral, presentations, whitepapers, and case studies. He or she will create and manage an onboarding and ongoing education program for non-scientific functions.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for content marketing strategy and execution

  • Manages marketing content calendar; including but not limited to ensuring robust schedule in line with marketing strategy; serves as project manager for all content efforts; responsible for all projects moving forward within deadlines

  • Develops case studies, whitepapers, blogs, infographics, email messaging, videos, and other media content through individual contribution and by gathering ideas from internal team members and outside entities

  • Serves as the primary content editor; ensures all content is scientifically accurate, aligns with corporate personality, and is designed to meet company standards

  • Builds and maintains relationships with scientific leadership, project managers, and external partners. Identifies impactful and timely topics of focus.

  • Collaborates with Business Development and Marketing teams to promote and distribute content through the company website, social media, email marketing, etc.

  • Creates and manages internal education program for non-scientific function (primarily Business Development and Marketing); develops and regularly updates curriculum for the program; hosts training sessions with other team members

  • Coordinates with vendors the translation of assets into other languages, as needed

  • Other duties as needed

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, biotechnology, or related field

  • Not less than five (5) years' experience working in biotech, pharmaceutical, CRO/CMO or similar organization

  • Not less than two (2) years' experience in technical or content marketing


  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign)

  • Ability to think strategically, tactically, and creatively and adapt to new situations

  • Strong program/project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work well in a dynamic fast-paced environment

  • Proven capability to create and/or edit marketing content including scientific information

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exemplary attention to detail

  • Ability to deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels

VIEW JOBS 3/28/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-26T00:00 The Clinical Content Analyst reports to the Director and plays a critical role in the content development and maintenance process within our smart logic system. They will collaborate closely with physician leadership and will facilitate the development, maintenance, QA and delivery of medical rules, working closely with the physician-lead committees. In addition to content development, the analyst will be responsible for maintaining clear and concise documentation of all algorithms, recommendations, and supporting data. Analyst will ensure effective and timely communication of all modifications to key stakeholders. Responsibilities * Develop subject matter expertise in disease states, medical terminology, and familiarity with associated care plan recommendations. * Assist in pre-meeting preparation, agenda development, and logistical support during the meeting. * Assist in communication with physician committee co-chairs before and after meetings to ensure all Content questions and building logic are documented accurately. * Manage documentation of medical committee discussions, including creating flowcharts to represent rationale for clinical decisions. * Develop proficiency in using our proprietary smart logic system to build clinical content, including diagnostic and treatment algorithm logic, supporting material links, and the associated care plan recommendations. * Serve as the first point of Quality Assurance for all clinical content and make corrections in an efficient and timely manner. * Effectively communicate content changes with the entire team, including the Medical Director, subject matter experts and technical teams. * Work with technical team to communicate requirements for smart logic system. * Develop proficiency in drafting and sending release communications to clients, detailing different levels of changes to the clinical content. * Provide timely and exceptional customer service for content related requests from internal and external physicians.
