This teaching position is full-time.

The Science teacher has the responsibility to:

Teach four sections

Act as an advisor to 16-24 students

Supervise/sponsor at least one school committee/ club / activity

Supervise one intersession semester of an elective

Observe peers and participate in professional practice dialogues

Participate in training, planning and teaching during the summer

Assist with development and implementation of interdisciplinary curriculum

Assist with development and implementation of school policies

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Biology, Chemistry or Physics teaching experience

California Teaching Credential

Ability to work with heterogeneous groups of students

Ability to work with an ethnically and economically diverse student body

Ability to work independently as a self-starter in a new organization

Ability to excel as a member of a team

You’ll be directly responsible for the expansion of our current partner roster and will work directly with our Head of Partnerships and Partner Development Representatives to procure new restaurant partnerships based on the company's needs, vision, and strategy. The ideal candidate will have talent in business development and experience managing relationships. We expect you to be a reliable professional, balancing between a customer oriented and a results-driven approach. The goal is to find opportunities and turn them in long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul> <li>Building strong partnerships with high-quality restaurants – research warm prospects and complete meetings to sign interested restaurant leads who offer a wide range of dishes. You will manage the back-half partner acquisition cycle and on-boarding process.</li> <li>Curating dishes and menus – track trends and target customer needs. Test and taste everything to ensure we are adding the best items to our menus and that those items meet dietary needs and preferences. Negotiate all meal specs, packaging, and costs.</li> <li>Launching partner restaurants – Coordinate and facilitate photoshoots between our photographers and partners. Collaborate with our Content and Food Safety teams to provide accurate data for partner profiles and menu items.
