Science Stockroom Assistant- Summer Seasonal - Central College

Job Description:

Manage the computer Chemical Inventory System. Check equipment and chemicals in and out to students; make various solutions and prepare equipment for labs; help maintain a clean lab and stockroom; and perform various tasks (such as watering the greenhouse, maintaining aquarium, or doing clerical work) per direction from Stockroom Manager and the professors of the science departments. Perform periodic audits of the safety equipment in the labs.

Requirements:

Satisfactory completion of CHEM-111 General Chemistry. Majoring in biology, chemistry, physics, or engineering preferred.

Must possess good people skills, ability to work independently, good communication skills, multitasking and professionalism. Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds and possess manual dexterity for precision lab work and attention to detail.
