Job Basics:
Full time 7-12 Science Teaching position available beginning 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities include teaching of the secondary science curriculum to 7-12th graders.
This Broadfield Science position includes general science, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physics. Scobey School provides 1:1 technology to students with iPads, chromebooks and 2 dedicated computer labs. Also have a dedicated Science Lab along with separate classroom.
The position requires a valid Montana Teaching Certificate/License, or the ability to secure a Class 5 certificate at the time of employment. Salary based upon education level and years teaching. Employer paid health coverage is available.
Position can be combined with extra-curricular coaching and advisor positions.
We are a 4-day school week. Other benefits include free lunch, free access to all activities and flexible discretionary leave.

Our community is very supportive of the arts. Scobey’s community symphony, The Prairie Symphonette, practices twice weekly and puts on two concerts a year.
