Science (Broadfield)

Rocky Boy High School is recruiting a highly motivated, student-oriented educator to plan, implement, manage, and instruct an effective, interactive science curriculum for students in grades 9-12 for the 2024-25 school year.  The teacher will be assigned six teaching periods with one prep period, with focus placed on required science courses.

  Candidate should possess a second teaching endorsement at the grade 5-12 level.  Assigned courses may include Intro to Physics/Chemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science and/or a science elective, dependent upon certification and expertise.  We hire candidates who are highly energetic team players with high expectations focused on academic excellence.

  Candidates must possess and exhibit proficiency in technology.  Salary range $42,360-$77,826.

Qualifications:  Montana Class I or II Teaching certificate with endorsement in one of the following sciences areas:  03S Science [Broadfield], Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physics, or Physical Science.

  Second teaching endorsement in any subject is beneficial.  Teaching certificate must be for the 5-12 level.
