Science (Broadfield)

Science (Broadfield) teacher for the 2023-2024 School Year

This position is for a 7th-8th grade Science teacher who is licensed in Broadfield Science. The courses taught are Life and Physical Science.

 Applicants must be able to meet the diverse needs of our students by providing an appropriate learning environment. The chosen applicant will provide quality instruction by using a number of different instructional strategies that will incorporate technology and student engagement. The applicant must be well-versed in the common core curriculum and have an understanding of how this has changed the role of the teacher.

In the classroom, the applicant must establish effective classroom management by having clear expectations and setting procedures for a student-centered classroom. Finally, the applicant will work creatively, cooperatively, and will establish positive relationships with colleagues, guardians, and students.

Pay: DOE $35,792-$50,266

Academic Qualifications:

The applicant must hold or be qualified to obtain a valid Montana Teaching License. Broadfield Science endorsement is preferred or experience in teaching middle school science.
