SCI AmeriCorps Fellows gain professional nonprofit experience as well as: leadership training program through SCI, access to college / graduate credit through an exclusive partnership with Merrimack College, and earn federal dollars towards higher education. SCI AmeriCorps is seeking candidates to fill positions for a 1700-hour service term (approximately 40 hours/week) from September 2024 through June 2025. Fellow Stipend Benefit Options (A or B) A. Receive a Taxable Stipend of $2,500 / month, paid bi-weekly (max stipend value = $25,000 per year). B. Receive a Taxable Stipend of $1,600 / month, paid bi-weekly, with Housing Placement & Homestay Benefit [$900 / month] provided by StudentRoomStay (max stipend value = $25,000 year). Essential Requirements
Commit to full term-of-service in local communities with diverse residents
Serve in-person for some or all service activities
Participate fully in all SCI AmeriCorps orientations, trainings, surveys and evaluations
Complete a Social Capital Youth Project for host site partner youth enrichment programming

Member Duties : Core service activities will be:
Support & collaborate with the Assistant Executive Director to manage and utilize the McKeown Boys & Girls Club volunteer management system on Salesforce platform for programming and events.
Develop & implement volunteer outreach strategies to enhance McKeown Boys & Girls Club volunteer engagement processes, including producing recruitment content in various media and engaging McKeown Boys & Girls Club youth in volunteer outreach.
Advise and mentor youth participants in McKeown Boys & Girls Club Ambassadors (peer orientation program) and Tanner Torch Club (middle school community service-learning program).
Support McKeown Boys & Girls Club after-school programming by managing 1-3 enrichment programs per week. Fellows will have flexibility to develop and run programs in their interest areas that support youth development.
Service hours: Monday-Thursday, 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm, with flexibility.
