We are looking for a talented Student to Work
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Responsible in assisting in the development and deployment of propriety Cummins-Meritor internal computer programs.
Assist in writing codes, debugging existing programs
Familiarity with GitHub, Website hosting, ASP.NET framework,
HTML/CSS/Java Script frontend, and SQL server for database.
Testing programs and help planning and deploying programs
Tracking development plans to ensure on time delivery.
Must be able to use various computer systems and programs as necessary to complete job function
Professional in Visual Studio and programming in Python and C#
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Ensure timely completion of all project objectives
Be able to write detailed technical reports.
Have a positive attitude, quick learner and a team player with diverse ideas and viewpoints.
Be able to work extra hours as necessary
Work closely with Gear Engineers
Education
High school diploma or GED
Student studying Computer Engineering is a plus
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate $20 an hour, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
