POSITION TITLE: SCHOOL TEST COORDINATOR
LOCATION: Sylvan Hills Junior High

QUALIFICATIONS: Any valid Arkansas Teaching Licensure
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOAL: Coordinate the testing of all students as required by State and District mandate. Collect pertinent data and prepare reports as required by the State, coordinate and provide training for teachers and provide test-related data to site and District administration as needed.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate State, Federal, and District-mandated testing with related departments within the school.
Facilitate the administration of testing; including acquisition of testing materials and providing school-based training regarding procedures for testing.
Receive, inspect, count, number and distribute testing materials; package tests and manuals and prepare communications for staff for each test administration and distribute to appropriate administrators according to established schedules; compose, type and distribute reports and other correspondence related to the testing process.
Assure required student information is complete and accurate; obtain and complete missing information.
Maintain the security of testing materials, related data, and confidential student information.
Attend training at the District level to keep current with compliance and State regulation issues for State mandated testing.
Monitor and report testing compliance issues to the Principal and Director of Counseling.
Provide training and direction for school-site test administrators on State and District mandated tests.
Act as liaison for the school's Testing Office and Information Technologies related to the collection, maintenance, and distribution of mandated tests; Coordinate with Information Technologies & Director of Counseling to resolve technology errors, questions, and other issues.
Serve as liaison for the Testing Office on duties related to the completion of required reports as needed to meet District, State and Federal requirements.
Coordinate and present testing information to parents and community groups as needed.
Participate in job related professional development and training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary Range: Teacher Salary Schedule. (Placement depends upon education and experience.)
EVALUATION:
Job performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the PCSSD Board Policy on Certified Personnel.
