NJ Certified School Social Worker to perform the duties of Case Manager on the Child Study Team. Primary functions: (1) to provide direct and indirect services to students experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges and to facilitate communication, intervention, and problem solving in collaboration with school and community providers and students and families; (2) to serve on the Child Study Team as Case Manager and oversee the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs); and (3) to participate in the evaluation, classification, and placement of students with disabilities and conduct assessments according to one's discipline as part of the evaluation process.

These services will be provided to students in one of the District's special programs, the R.I.S.E. Program. R.I.S.E. services students in grades 9-12 that possess high cognitve abilities but have struggled to meet with academic/social success due to emotional fragility, and benefit from small group instruction and clinical support throughout the school day.

?Special skills and experience in clinical social work with adolescents with emotional regulation disorders (LCSW preferred).
