School Secretary/Receptionist-Raymond High School

This position is part of the Raymond Support Staff Union. Pay is per the Collective Bargaining Agreement found here. Starting pay rates $13.75 per hour to $19.00 per hour.

This is a 8 hours per day, school year position offering medical, dental, vision, FSA, NH Retirement System pension, 403b, paid leave, nights, weekends and summers off!


1.High school diploma

REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal

JOB GOAL: To assist the school administration in operating an effective, efficient school office


  • Serves as secretary to the principal and assistant principal and guidance office

  • Prepare school mailings and forms

  • Maintains cumulative files of students - paper and/or electronic

  • Maintains general school files, including files of administrative/guidance


  • Maintains an inventory of school forms; makes forms available when

needed in a timely manner

  • Distributes memos and notices generated by the school administration.
    7.Types and process purchase orders checks in materials received, and

coordinates proper storage or distribution

8.Maintains office bulletin board in an attractive, timely manner.

  • Enters student data for progress reports and report cards; print progress

reports, report cards and transcripts

  • Answers the telephone

  • Maintains current file of student emergency and custody orders information

  • Sets up handbooks and distributes materials to the staff/parents for the opening

of school

  • Coordinates distribution of student information

  • Uses student information management system for all tasks so assigned

  • Develops reports as directed Makes budget recommendations to the principal for the efficient operation of the school office

Sorts mail for the staff and places in staff mailboxes

  • Is responsible for registration of new students

  • Maintains school register/enrollment/attendance

  • Maintains confidentiality of information regarding students and staff

  • Complies with all policies and procedures established by the School Board and Superintendent

  • Serves on committees as requested

  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the principal

Work Year: 210 Days

Evaluation: Annually by the school building administration

VIEW JOBS 1/1/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-04-01T00:00 6th Grade Long Term Substitute at THE IBER HOLMES GOVE MIDDLE SCHOOL This is a long term placement from about March 1st through about end of May 2021. $85 per day for the first 30 school days, then $187.82 per day Iber Holmes Gove Middle School is Raymond's grade 4 - 8 school with a student population of 450+/-. We are a team based school with ffive grade level teams and a unified arts team. Each grade level team is made up of four to five classroom teachers and a special education case manager. The unified arts team is made up of the art, computer, FCS, health, librarian, music, PE, TecI Ed and world languages teachers. The long term 6th grade teacher will have four sections social studies and be an active member of the 6th grade team. IHGMS is actively engaged in implementing a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for both academics and behaviors. Along with core academics and unified arts our schedule includes an intervention & enrichment period. Our goal is to have 80% of our students master their grade level standards in reading and math through a competency based education system. Classroom Teacher REPORTS TO: School Principal JOB GOAL: To make knowledge accessible to all students by developing their cognitive capacity and respect for learning. Foster students' self-esteem, motivation, and sense of civic responsibility. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provide an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and psychological growth. This person is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success in accordance with Raymond School District Policies. QUALIFICATIONS: The class room teacher will meet all qualifications and behavior standards as set by the Sate of New Hampshire authority. In accordance with certification requirements and the performances expectations of the Raymond Public Schools, all classroom teachers shall meet the following employment criteria. * The minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university * A valid New Hampshire Teacher's Certificate (applicable level-area endorsements preferred.) * A completed credential file that meets Raymond Public School standards. * Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience. * Evidence of the willingness and the ability to comply with the standards for ethical and professional performance established by the State Board of Education. * Interview/file data will include evidence of sensitivity and respect for others and verification of the demonstrated ability to serve as a positive role model for youth. * Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
