School Secretary

Staff Needed: One (1) School Secretary

Qualifications:

• Have experience working with students, staff, parents and community stakeholders

• Must be able to evaluate situations (e.g. involving other staff, students, parents, the public, law enforcement, etc.) for the purpose of taking appropriate action and/or directing to appropriate personnel for resolutions

• Must be able to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods; willing to lead, guide, and/or coordinate others, and maintain a positive school image at all times.

• Knowledge of various Data Systems for attendance, grading, report cards, etc.

• Maintain a variety of computerized and manual records, files, and department databases (e.g. information packets, rosters/listings, calendars, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing reliable information and complying with district, state and federal requirements

• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates excellent interpersonal skill to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community

• Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators and the community

Salary: As Per Negotiated Contract
