The Hazel Crest School District seeks an individual to fill a School Secretary position at Jesse White Learning Academy.

Job Summary:

The School Secretary is responsible for performing a variety of clerical support to the Principal's Office and working as a team member.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of college preferred.
• Four (4) years of secretarial experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Excellent organizational, human relations, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in the use of PowerSchool
• Ability to type 60 wpm
• Ability to respond to oral and written directions.
• Ability to organize an efficient filing system.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality on Administrative matters.
• Ability to respond quickly in case of emergency.
• Must be computer literate and highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications.

Salary/Benefits

• This is a 10-month position. Salary is based on market comparisons as determined by the Superintendent. The District offers excellent fringe benefits, including life, health, and dental insurance.
