Requirements / Qualifications

Equivalent to graduation from high school, preferably supplemented by coursework in office skills. A minimum of three years of progressively responsible secretarial and clerical experience, preferably in a school setting, is desired. Completion of the application is not necessary. If you are a current employee seeking a promotional opportunity, you must complete the ED join application in its entirety, and attach all necessary attachments as requested in the job posting. To be considered for hire, candidates must meet the minimum requirements including a successful interview and successful reference checks. Please note that we require three references, one of them must be a supervisor (current or past). Upon hiring, TB and Fingerprint Clearance (at the applicant's expense) will be required prior to employment. CPR and First Aid certification will be required within 6 months of employment. Passing the Clerical Skills Level II test is a requirement for this position. If you've already taken and passed this test or higher, you do not need to take it again. Qualified applicants who have not taken or passed the test previously, will be contacted for testing.
