GENERAL
RESPONSIBILITIES:To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office.

PERFORMANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs usual office routines

  • Receives, responds, and routes all incoming calls/messages

  • Maintains student database; enters and retrieves information from student tracking system

  • Maintains student records/files

  • Processes student report cards

  • Processes all changes and adjustments in student schedules

  • Greets and directs visitors, insures appropriate sign in procedures

  • Maintains a daily teacher attendance log and the concomitant records for substitute teachers

  • Reports staff attendance to Payroll Office

  • Makes necessary meeting arrangements

  • Makes any necessary PA announcements

  • Types and distributes school newsletter

  • Coordinates mass mailings to children's homes

  • Orders and maintains supplies as needed

  • Processes invoices, purchase orders for payment, tracks for budget allocation

  • Contributes to the preparation of the Budget

  • Sorts and collates mail, copies, files correspondence, invoices, records, etc.

  • Schedules appointments for Principal, as necessary

  • Other related duties as assigned by School Principal

TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT: Twelve months per year. Salary, Benefits
and work year as per contract.

EVALUATION:Annually conducted by the School Principal or his/her designee in accordance with school policies and practices.
