USD 273-Beloit is accepting applications for a certified Early Childhood Teacher with the Mitchell County Partnership for Children for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Kansas teaching license with appropriate endorsement.

Salary Information

Minimum starting salary for B.A. - $40,675

Minimum starting salary for M.A. - $42,713

Beloit Elementary School is a fully accredited educational institution. The staff consists of 40 professionals, along with 2 secretaries, 31 paraeducators and aides, 3 custodians and 4 cooks.

The enrollment at Beloit Elementary school has averaged 425 students each year for the last ten years. The average class size is 19 students per teacher.

Beloit Junior Senior High School is a fully accredited educational institution offering a comprehensive educational program regardless of a student`s post-secondary plans. Building staff includes 41 professionals, 3 secretaries, 13 paraeducators and aides, 3 custodians, 1 maintenance worker, 1 director of buildings and grounds and 4 cooks. Average enrollment grades 7-12 is 348, with an average class size of 16 students per teacher.

Beloit School District USD #273 is the host district for the Beloit Special Education Cooperative. The Beloit Special Education Cooperative provides a full continuum of services for students with disabilities in accordance to the Individuals with Disabilities Act 2004 (IDEA-R). The districts the cooperative serves are USD #107 Rock Hills, USD #272 Waconda, USD #273 Beloit, USD #298 Lincoln, and USD #299 Sylvan Grove.
