We are currently seeking an Anticipated School Psychologist who holds a master's degree in school psychology or psychology for a one year position for the 2024-2025 school year.

Summary: Provide psychological assessment and counseling to students in accordance with the special education rules and regulations and/or student plans. An established working knowledge of mental health and the treatment of affective and behavioral disorders, and excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

Qualifications: Master's degree in school psychology or psychology

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing individual and group counseling as appropriate.
Administering and evaluating psychological tests and preparing reports.
Helping students with diverse lived experiences and identities to process and manage their problems.
Engaging and counseling teachers, parents, and caregivers about issues.
Researching and implementing intervention programs.
Developing programs to address behavioral issues and learning difficulties.
Assessing and diagnosing students to determine eligibility for special services.
Interest, willingness, and/or experience integrating and advancing practices of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Other Duties as assigned
Reports directly to the Director of Student Support Services.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience with and understanding of collaborative school models using a MTSS is highly desirable.
Experience with trauma-informed and restorative practices
