Under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director of Special Education, provides school leadership in the area of mental health; assumes responsibility for psycho-educational assessment and evaluation; counseling; teacher and community consultant services; participates in school and District activities.

Qualification for employment includes completion of on line training in the following areas:

  • New Employee Training

  • Preventing Workplace Violence

  • Bloodborne Pathogens

  • Sexual Harassment

  • Child Abuse/Mandated ReporterUpon offer of employment, candidates will receive information and directions regarding this training.Applicants must a valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing School Psychology. Teaching and/or counseling experience and cross-cultural experience is desired.

Comments and Other Information

Additional Salary Information: * IUSD will accept up to fifteen years of previous experience.

  • Upon hiring, salary placement will be determined by the number of upper division/graduate level units earned from a WASC accredited four-year college or university. Units must be earned subsequent to the date of the Bachelor's degree.

  • There is a $1,000.00 Doctoral stipend.
