GENERAL INFORMATION: Under the direction and supervision of the Director and/or Coordinator of Early Childhood Services, the School Psychologist provides direct and consultant services to teaching staff as well as to children, parents and public and private community agencies in the task of establishing eligibility and working with various teams to develop educational environments that are of benefit to specific pupils and to the general preschool community.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possession of appropriate California Credential with specialization in School Psychology.

• Two (2) years' experience in Early Childhood settings, preferred.

• It is critical to be a team player and have knowledge of relationship-based interactions and interventions with families and young children.

• Strong organization skills and the ability to work efficiently as well as prioritize and perform under tight timelines.

• Effective communicator and problem solver.

• English/Spanish Bilingual is desired.
