SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST

DARCEY SCHOOL

Description:

An exciting opportunity for an individual who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, high energy and creativity, the ability to problem solve, respond in a crisis, and support students with a variety of learning challenges. The candidate will display a strong commitment and desire to be a contributing member of a dynamic student support team.

The duties include but are not limited to: interpretation of assessment and learning needs, assisting in the planning, development, and evaluation of programs to meet student's learning needs. Provide direct intervention through counseling individuals and small groups. Provide consultation to administration, staff and parents. Experience with Early Childhood preferred.

Qualifications:

Connecticut Teaching Certificate #070. Experience with Preschool and Kindergarten students preferred.

In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and the Education Association of Cheshire
