We are currently accepting applications for the H-E-B School of Retail Leadership (SORL) Program, which develops individuals to become Store Operation Leaders. Hands-on management experience in all departments, classroom training, project work and workshops are designed to enhance the level of skill and leadership required to become a successful Store Leader.

We are looking for:

  • a master's or bachelor's degree
  • 1 year of experience as a department manager
  • a high-level record of school / work achievement and performance

What is the work? (other duties may be assigned)

  • Able and willing to relocate based on business need for talent (relocation assistance provided)
  • If you meet all of the preferred education and experience and are interested in the position, complete the online application AND submit the requested documents to the Regional office

Management:

  • Hands-on management experience in all departments

  • Attends classroom training and workshops designed to enhance leadership skills

  • Works with H-E-B Regional Leadership, Store Leadership, and Department Managers to gain exposure to all aspects of retail operation

  • Performs project work

What is your background? (Preferred Education and Experience)

  • A bachelor's or master's degree, or have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a primary or sub-department manager

  • A strong academic record (3.0 GPA preferred)

  • Current performance rating of meets or exceeds expectations

  • Exhibit a high level of achievement and performance in school and / or work

  • Work extended hours and varying work schedule as dictated by the business

In this role the analyst will support the fee-earners in pursuit of prospect clients and the servicing of clients from an analytical perspective. The Analyst reports directly to local Ops Director with oversight from a senior level person within the Investment Sales team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Underwrite and evaluate the financial performances and trends of assets to prepare valuation analyses in Argus * Perform extensive research, including but not limited to, reviewing and analyzing financial reports, studying comparable properties, collect information on the immediate area (owner lists) and overall market. Present all of your findings to Broker in a concise form * Compile location information on target markets, such as recent articles, job announcements, new development, etc. and update Broker frequently * Coordinate and monitor Due Diligence Process, including attending third party inspections, as needed * Maintain owner database and pipeline report * Additional various responsibilities to support Broker that will contribute to revenue growth BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience * 0 - 2 years industry experience (real estate and/or finance or accounting) * Strong Financial background with knowledge of Excel Modelling * Salesperson license required to procure and maintain within 6 months of start date * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite * Argus experience a plus (or other discounted cash flow program) * Database Management experience a plus COMPETENCIES * Exceptional analytical skills * Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong written and oral communication skills * Detail-oriented * Ability to multitask Cushman & Wakefield provides equal employment opportunity.
