ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Update written correspondence venues for student teaching (e.g., website, handbook, etc.)
Collaborate with Director of Online Gate and Field Placement to assist with curriculum content for student teaching
Collaborate with the Field Placement Office to provide support as needed for student teachers, Cooperating Teacher, Supervisors, etc.
Collaborate with the Accreditation Team and the Data Team to oversee necessary assessments for student teaching
Serve as official coordinator with EdTPA/Pearson and SME all residential and online edTPA courses which includes the following:
Understand and disseminate policies and procedures for pre-EdTPA/EdTPA
Coordinate with Chairs for curriculum-related pre-EdTPA/EdTPA tasks
Provide training for supervisors and candidates as needed for pre-EdTPA/EdTPA
Provide support for candidates who may not pass EdTPA
Analyze edTPA data each semester for continuous program improvement
Update the pre-EdTPA/EdTPA Milestone tool in Canvas
Assist with Global Community website as necessary
Manage escalated student-teacher situations and work with the Director of Student Success on Improvement Contracts and Intervention Plans.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
Minimum
Master's degree
Current state teaching license
3 years teaching in K-12 setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Superior organizational skills
Ability to coordinate time sensitive functions across multiple departments
Capability to represent the department and university in a professional manner
Preferred
Administrative experience in higher education and understanding of academic administration
