PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Staffing Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to the District and the School Nutrition program by matching the skills of associates to the needs of the schools.

Develops and maintains rapport with management and supervisors to maintain consistencies in all departments. Communicates workforce needs to all stakeholders for staffing productivity. REPORTS TO:

Executive Director School Nutrition SALARY SCHEDULE: PS-4 WORK DAYS: 229 Requirements: Education: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of the bachelor's degree a combination of experience and education may be used to meet the bachelor's degree requirement [8 years directly related experience; 2 years of similar work experience equals 1 year of college.] Certification/License: Completion of GaDoe required O.N.E. (Orientation for Nutrition Employees) within 90 days of hire.

Completion of GaDoe required Manager Pathways and Culinary Pathways Certification within one year of hire. Valid driver's license and availability of private transportation, or the availability to get to off-site meetings. Work Experience:

Three (3) years supervisory experience in food service operations in a large public-school setting. Experience in institutional meal planning & preparation. Experience in supervisory, management type employment.

Experience supervising more than 5 food service employees. Experience in institutional meal planning and preparation a plus. Essential Duties:

Ensures compliance with internal and external policies and regulations. Oversees all staffing needs and operations. Assist in the preparation and execution of onboarding and training plans.

Takes responsibility for timekeeping and time off requests submitted by Cafeteria staff. Collaborates with payroll to ensure correct employee compensation. Evaluates and supervises staffing needs.

Recruits' associates for high-demand skill areas and ensures talent pool is plentiful to fill Cafeteria needs. Attends job fairs to recruit and source potential candidates. Interviews and evaluates applicants to determine their qualifications to fil school staffing needs.

Schedules interviews, job placement activities, and applicant training. Monitors Associates' attendance and performance and coaches and counsels Associates to ensure quality performance and jo satisfaction. Resolves customer/client/associate issues and/or complaints.

Serves as the initial contact when associates report work-related injuries, documents all information to ensure accurate record-keeping. Conducts outside service calls to ESS Temp Agency to ensure quality customer service is being delivered. Answers phones promptly and provides information to schools, candidates, and associates.

Effective supervision of associates to achieve critical operational goals in the areas of productivity, quality, and safety. Ensures that a positive relationship is maintained between the School Nutrition Program, Cafeteria Site Staff and School Administration. Performs other duties as assigned by the SNP Executive Director.

Additional Responsibilities Conduct weekly performance checks with schools to ensure that each employee is meeting the expectations of the SNP and the School Administrator. Ensures that each department has adequate staffing to meet production goals. Keeps an organized daily schedules of staffing needs.

Ensures that all schools are provided with quality temporary staff. Supervises, hires, reviews, trains, evaluates assigned personnel. Develops and carries out recruiting strategies and processes.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities An understanding of the importance of confidentiality Proven experience as a Staffing Manager or in a similar role Experience in planning and execution of HR processes (onboarding, hiring, etc.) Effectively planning to meet established timelines. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Terms of Employment The work calendar will be 229 days.

Salary will be determined based on allowable experience.
