School Nurse Position - RN / LPN

Maynard P:ublic Schools is looking for a school nurse to support students, families and staff with a positive attitude and personality to add to our school community.

The position would primarily be in our grade PK-3 and 4-8 schools as a float to assist the designated school nurse (RN).

Ideally we are seeking an RN however qualified LPN's will also be considered.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Professional Nursing Program approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing with current Massachusetts license/Registration in Nursing.

• Bachelor degree required

• Department of Secondary and Elementary Education Certified or eligible School nursing experience required.

• 1 - 3 years experience in pediatrics, community health or school setting.

• Experience working with children of all abilities preferred.

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
