Comments and Other Information

Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, the School Nurse serves as a member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team serving the needs of students and their families regarding medical and health related issues; provides assessment, consultation and/or treatment related to health issues and other identified developmental needs determined through the IEP process; and provides consultation and training to staff and parents.
