Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Two years experience in public health nursing, preferably in a school district Valid California Registered Nurse License Valid California School Nurse Services Credential Valid California School Nurse Audiometric Certification Valid CPR and standard first aid certificate Valid California Driver's License Strong writing, research and communication skills Fingerprint and tuberculosis clearances as required by law.

In order to be considered for this position, the following documents are required: Completed Edjoin application Letter of introduction Resume Three letters of reference Copies of required licenses and certificates Prior to employment, a candidate must submit evidence of freedom from tuberculosis. Also required after an offer of employment are a pre-employment physical exam (district-paid) and fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice.
