School Food Service Manager/Bookkeeper (2024-2025) - Mt. Washington Middle School

This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.

Manage and coordinate the day-to-day food service operations of an assigned school site; assure compliance with district, state and federal requirements and laws regarding nutrition, sanitation, safety and record-keeping; select, assign, schedule, supervise, direct and evaluate assigned food service personnel. Perform routine clerical accounting duties in the maintenance of assigned accounting records at a school site.

This position is for 7.75 hours per day and 183 days per year.

(170 student instructional days, 4 holidays, 9 extended days)

Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.

New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)

Step 0: $18.13

Step 10: $20.91

Although Classified positions are paid on an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year-long contract and divided by the number of remaining paychecks. This position is considered a ten month employee on the pay schedule. 4 paychecks will be paid at the end of June.
