School Food Service Cook/Baker (2024-2025) - Hebron Middle

This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.

Prepare, cook, bake and serve a variety of foods in quantity at an assigned school site; assist in other food preparation duties as directed; maintain facilities in a clean and sanitary condition; train and provide work direction to others.

This position is for 4 hours per day and 170 student instructional days, 4 holidays, 5 extended days for a total of 179 days per year. Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date. (Considered full time with benefits - see below)

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.

New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)

Salary based on the Board Approved Salary Schedule for the 2024-2025 school year.

Although Classified positions are paid on an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year-long contract and divided by the number of remaining paychecks. This position is considered a ten month employee on the pay schedule. 4 paychecks will be paid at the end of June.
