The School District Technology Intern focuses on system administration and will support our school district technology team in various tasks including asset auditing, chromebook repair, MDM management, running cable, labeling wall ports, account management, mounting access points, and upgrading server operating systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist in auditing and tracking technology assets across the school district
Repair and maintain Chromebooks used by students and staff
Assist in MDM (Mobile Device Management) management for district devices
Assist with running cable and labeling wall ports in classrooms and offices for network connectivity
Manage user accounts for district staff and students
Mount access points throughout school districts to ensure reliable wireless connectivity
Assist in upgrading server operating systems
Regular and dependable attendance is an essential function of this position

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma required
Must be currently enrolled in a system administration or related program at an accredited college or university
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Google Suite
Basic understanding of network protocols and concepts
Experience with Windows, Mac, and Chromebooks
Technology Skills
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
