POSITION TITLE: School Counselor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide guidance and counseling services to students as they work through academic and social issues. Provide and assist students with academic and career planning through a developmental guidance program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree or higher with eligibility for a Georgia certificate in School Counseling.

Minimum of three years successful experience as a classroom teacher or the equivalent in an educational setting desired.

Advanced skills in human relations, leadership and group management.

Skilled with student behavioral interventions and de-escalation techniques.
