Job Description:

Must hold a valid Missouri Counseling Certificate in grades 7-12

Position is at Fort Osage High School, serves a caseload of students in partnership with other counselors. This position also comes with seven additional contracted days to complete scheduling requirements.

Purpose Statement

The job of Counselor is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional process with specific

responsibility for managing the schedules and placement of assigned students; providing course curriculum,

information and recommendations to students and parents; assisting in the development of goals and plans

for achievement and assisting with career and college readiness.
