School Counseling

Smith Valley School is a small rural school located five miles west of Kalispell. There are approximately 200 students in grades K - 8.

We are seeking a half time school counselor who enjoys interacting with students and watching them grow into fine young citizens. Smith Valley School has an incredible staff, great students, and lots of support from parents/caregivers. Preferred qualifications: Master's Degree in school counseling and educational experience.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in elementary education and ability to demonstrate acceptance or enrollment into a school counseling program, with completion of the program within 3 years.

Please note: This position may be combinable with the part-time school counselor position at Marion School.
