School Based Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) In Niceville, FL

Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years occupational therapy experience required. A school district in theis currently seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join their team for the uping school year.

The COTA will work under the direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) or supervisor onsite. Their main responsibilities will involve evaluating and diagnosing various intellectual disorders Responsibilities: Diagnosing and treating intellectual disorders.

Performing screenings to assess the needs of students. Educating patients and their families about disorders and their causes, including disabilities and traumatic events. Maintaining detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.

Experience: Previous experience in a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) setting. Preference for candidates with prior experience in a school environment. Education: Must hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
