We are seeking a natural leader with high-energy to serve as Program Manager for one of our Edmonds school locations!

As a Program Manager, you will -

  • Lead a team of educators and/or assistant teachers to ensure the delivery of engaging, interactive educational experiences and curriculum
  • Develop strong relationships with school administration, parents, & PTA organizations in order to provide the best care for children and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage staff compliance with district-specific policies and procedures
  • Maintain excellent communication with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnel
  • Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
  • Lead the educator and assistant teacher team in organizing program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observations
  • Manage and order supplies as needed according to curriculum
  • Meet and report regularly to the Area Manager regarding program, site, and staff performance

Requirements

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to use and model appropriate positive discipline
  • Works well in a team environment
  • A passion and drive that inspire a love for learning & the ability to engage children in learning activities in a fun and interactive way
  • Respect for and dedication to working with children
  • 2 years of direct experience working with children under 13
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • College coursework in early childhood education, child development, or a related field
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of enterprise-wide initiatives focusing on the Interoperability program. This program is used to differentiate Premera's products and services in the market and serve to increase the experience of our members. You will help coordinate with key business and technical leaders across multiple departments to drive strategic alignment of the individual program tracks, assist teams in defining, tracking, and attaining critical success measures, and aid in the design and implementation of the program deliverables. You will champion the program enterprise-wide and work with executives to define the interoperability strategy and report its progress. What You'll Do: * Provides corporate leadership for large-scale enterprise-wide initiatives, focusing on the Interoperability. Manage execution of department strategic plan deliverables, including development of goals, objectives, and roadmaps * Advises senior leadership on the project or initiative planning, tracking and implementation of key enterprise-wide strategic initiatives that include both business and system-related aspects * Oversees all project activities and phases; responsible for program roadmap including definition, development, management of the budgets and oversees project plans for all projects identified by senior management such as the Executive Leadership Team * Lead project governance and the change control processes to ensure that project budget, schedule, and scope are maintained within the approved project baselines * Manages vendor selection process, monitors vendor performance, and tracks deliverables * Manage departmental planning process and performs independent analyses for a broad array of complex issues. Identify and recommend suggested action steps based on analytic results, makes recommendations to management. * Lead the integration of departmental projects and programs by development of project team objectives, implementation of team, managing risk and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and outcomes.
