We are currently looking for a Scheduling Supervisor to join our Team.
JOB SUMMARY
The Scheduler Supervisor is responsible for supervising and training clinic schedulers while organizing and coordinating clerical duties and office procedures. In this role, the supervisor will ensure that appointments are made in a timely manner while resolving any scheduling conflicts. Oversight of daily clinic schedules will need to be maintained with the clinic for external staffing needs on all scheduled appointments. Additionally, the Scheduling Supervisor will coordinate with medical records, transportation, IDT and clinic staff to ensure that internal and external appointments are met, as well as unplanned sick visits.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Supervision and training of clinic schedulers.
2.Ensuring appointments are done in a timely manner.
3.Collaborate with medical records.
4.Coordinating with transportation on all scheduled appointments.
5.Responsible for all internal appointments and oversight of external appointments.
6.Organizing daily clinic schedule in collaboration with clinic staff and sending out to staff.
7.Complying with clinic infection control structure when creating clinic schedule.
8.Participates in clinic meetings, IDT meetings, and overall planning related to clinic.
9.Answers phone in a timely and polite manner.
Greet all participants in a positive way.
Scheduling outside medical appointments for participants, keeping an organized clinic calendar and daily agenda.
Organizing clinic layout, ordering equipment and supplies as needed.
Follows PACE policies and procedures and OSHA safety guidelines.
Maintains confidentiality of all company procedures, results, and information about participants.
Performs other duties as required or requested.
REQUIREMENTS
1.High School Diploma or GED required
2.Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.
3.Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant contact.
4.Pass a comprehensive criminal background check that may include, but is not limited to, federal and state Medicare/Medicaid exclusion lists, criminal history, education verification, license verification, reference check, and drug screen.
