Job Summary

• Performs diverse duties as they relate to the clinic to include, maintaining multiple physician, patient, surgery, procedure and office schedules. Schedules patient provider appointments, referrals and medical tests as ordered by the physician or advanced practice provider

• Responsible for scheduling, maintaining, and disseminating an accurate provider, including acquisition, retention, and organization of documentation, and will provide clerical services for the clinic as indicated. Performs reception duties for all medical personnel and visitors as needed including computer entry, phone answering, patient, staff, and physician communication.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

• One year of medical secretary school preferred.

• 3 or more years of experience as a scheduler, biller, or in a medical office preferred.

• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

• Medical Terminology is required.

Work Schedule

• 80 hours every 2 weeks

• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

• No weekends or holidays

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $18.25 - $23.00 per hour
