NVR is looking for intelligent, highly motivated, positive, results-oriented future business leaders to join our Darlington Manufacturing Plant. You will have the opportunity to begin as a Coordinator in our Scheduling and Logistics Department, with the aim of training and developing talent for future leadership roles at NVR. This position will give you an opportunity to develop your leadership skills and grow with the company, while serving in various targeted jobs throughout the organization. You will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the manufacturing and operations process through hands-on vocational training, mentorship, leadership training, real life business projects, and more.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Communicate with NVR field personnel regarding product quality, scheduling, and delivery.

  • Work closely with the plant's Customer Service and Materials department to ensure operational goals are being met.

  • Create and update production delivery schedules.

  • Monitor field capacity plans utilizing NVR's vendor scheduling program.

  • Key delivery requests/changes into NVR's scheduling system and create accurate schedules for Rough and Trim packages.

  • Create and communicate schedule change notices and material correction notices to plant personnel.

  • Prepare daily reports and delivery paperwork for use by the shop floor and hauler.

  • Prepare audit checklists, shipping reports, and blue prints for delivery operations.

  • Assist with other administrative tasks assigned and cross train in other departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (Business or Engineering preferred)

  • Demonstrated leadership experience at work, in extracurricular activities, or on campus

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities

  • High energy and ability to multi-task

  • Ability to adapt to changing demands

  • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills

  • Reliability and initiative to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, professional team environment.

  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on Excel.
