Job responsibilities include:

• Scheduling non-invasive and invasive out-patient and inpatient procedures for Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Electrophysiology and Interventional Radiology

• Answering telephone calls from providers and patients regarding scheduling

• Transcription of faxed orders

• Scanning appropriate documentation for the procedure

• Coordinating workflow in a busy office environment

• Obtaining checking insurance authorizations for selected procedures

• Create case request for procedures in EPIC

• Ability to work well with multidisciplinary team

• Data entry and coordinating workflow

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma

• Medical background preferred

• Able to multitask, organizational skills and ability to work in high stress environment

• EPIC scheduling experience preferred

• EXCEL/Word preferred

• Prior office experience preferred
