Brookdale Healthcare Services is looking for a Home Health Scheduler to provide services in the Daytona Beach area. Join a dynamic team of health care providers focused on health, wellness and prevention for all our patients.

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of clinical visits for care team in compliance with physician approved orders and clinician plotted visits approved by Clinical Services Manager

  • Assist clinicians with assuring all visits are properly assigned and scheduled on Electronic Medical Record (EMR) devices

  • Responsible for monitoring and scheduling home health therapy reassessment visits to meet home health reassessment requirements

  • Prepare reports for scheduling tracking and participates in agency meetings to ensure patient and associate scheduling needs are met

Required skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

  • Home Health scheduling experience preferred

  • One year of experience scheduling and working with older adults or in a related healthcare setting

  • Must have knowledge and working capability of PCs, including Microsoft Word and Excel

We are currently hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator whom will have some supervisory tasks at our pharmacology site in Daytona Beach, FL! This position will maintain accurate and complete regulatory documents for all clinical studies conducted in the division of clinical pharmacology. Essential Job Duties * Perform supervisory duties including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, intervention, discipline, and discharge of staff * Coach and mentor staff; initiate, plan and implement appropriate staff development programs * Serve as site lead for all assigned Phase I clinical studies * Serves as the primary point of contact for the PM * Perform all aspects of the clinical process to include the development and final approval of study schedules, study specific documentation, clinical set-up, resourcing and clinical conduct, delegating tasks as appropriate * Work closely and proactively with operational teams to ensure that the laboratory, equipment and all operational requirements are fulfilled, study is adequately resourced and all personnel are trained and competent on all study procedures * Support the training of staff on project-specific and standardized Clinical Operations processes * Facilitates and coordinates client visits, with assistance of the PM where appropriate * Coordinates and ensures submission of documents to the IRB/IECe as appropriate for timely review Education/Qualifications * University / college degree, or certification in related allied health profession from appropriately accredited institution * In lieu of college degree, typically 3 years of experience in related field will be considered in addition to the experience requirement Experience * Typically 3 – 4 years of professional work experience, must include clinical research or related experience * Basic knowledge of computer and programs (e.g. Microsoft Word & Excel) * Knowledge of drug development process, ICH Guidelines & GCP * Working knowledge of the relationship and regulatory obligation of the CRO industry with pharmaceutical / biotechnological companies Covance is committed to diversity in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer (Minority/Female/Individual with Disability/Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity).
