The Part-time Scheduler is responsible for scheduling routes for high productivity while staying within contractual guidelines for ride times.
This work is done in compliance with the procedures defined by the client and in conformance with company procedures, which involves daily communication and interaction with drivers and monitors.
This position is located at our office in Austin, TX.Responsibilities:
High productivity route scheduling
Maintain contractual guidelines
Maximizing drivers hours to achieve daily pick-ups
Route trips efficiently, improving on-time performance of clients
Ensure daily updates of client and route information
- Review, print route sheets to ensure daily route accuracy
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to type 45 wpm
Previous data entry, 10-key experience, preferred
Familiarity with AS400 phone system, preferred
Substantial experience in Internet navigation
Skills in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications
Must possess a valid drivers license
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future Competency Based
* 2+ years in transportation routing, dispatching, and scheduling expertise Exemplary verbal and written communication
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to make solid judgment decisions
Ability to acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of department processes, policies, and procedures
